Other MS Degree Requirements
- Examinations:
- Plan 1: oral defense of Master's thesis
- Plan 2: evaluation of final project, in a manner specified
by the project committee
- Research/Projects: Required for Plans 1 and 2
- Master's Thesis: Required for Plan 1
- Other:
- No more than one-third of the total units presented for the master's
degree may be EECS 499.
- The only P/N course acceptable for the master's degree program
is EECS 590 Research.
- EECS 590 is not allowed for Plan 3.
- A project writeup must be submitted to project committee for Plan 2.
