CS393: Software Construction

1 When and Where

We meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 until 11:50am in Tech LR5 (except the first week, when we meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Attendance in class is mandatory.

2 Communication

The course staff consists of Lukas Lazarek and Robby Findler. We are both accessible via Piazza. We will also use Piazza for announcements and we expect you to check it at least once per day.

There are no officially scheduled office hours, but Robby is happy to meet with about a day of lead time, except on the day a homework assignment is due. That is, if you want to meet, you’ll need to plan ahead. Post a private message on Piazza to schedule a meeting.

3 Evaluation

Your final grade will depend on the weekly check of correctness of your tests and code (automatic testfests), the extent to which your codewalks foster a constructive discussion, and the quality of your code and presentation during your final codewalk at the end of the quarter.
