CSPP 51090 Software Construction Assignment 1: Memo |
| Due: April 9, 2003 |
You are leading a team of programmers. Your team is about to embark on a new project. You will not modify old code, and you don't need to use some existing infrastructure. It is up to you to choose the programming language for this new task, an opportunity that comes along rarely. Here is what you know so far about the programming task:
Your task is to write a memo to your boss that informs him of your choice and justifies it concisely. Since your boss is a busy, old man, your memo must be one (letter) page or less. He doesn't have time or patience for more. He also likes order. So your memos have to have a certain look. Here is what worked in the past: To: Mr. Boss From: ... Subject: ... Date: blah blah blah ...In your case, you must jointly write the memo with your co-manager, because pair programmers are led by pair managers. With this memo, you're also letting us know who will work together. |
