I am now with Microsoft Corporation, based in Redmond, WA. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL in December 2006. My dissertation titled "Automatic, Run-time and Dynamic Adaptation of Distributed Applications Executing in Virtual Environments" was advised by Prof. Peter A. Dinda. I completed the last six months of my research at Intel Corporation's Systems Technology Lab, Hillsboro, OR, while working with Dr. Mic Bowman's group.
Prior to joining Northwestern University, I
received my M.S. in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of
Technology, Hoboken, NJ, under Prof. Dan Duchamp. Previously I received a
B.E. Degree in Computer
Science and Engineering from
Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Karnataka, India.
